Celebrated musicians Rod Patterson, Ivan Gilliland and Barry Johnston have come together to perform the music of American Singer Songwriters Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Willy Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Steve Earle, John Prine and more.
This musical trip through Nashville history first debuted at the Duke of York as part of Belfast Culture Ireland Night in 2016. A sold out gig in The Black Box, Belfast as one of the highlights of the Belfast Out to Lunch Festival and an appearance as musical support to BBC Radio Ulster Country Ralph McLean’s Outlaw Country presentation at the Belfast Nashville Festival followed.
This is Outlaw Country at it’s best with the music of a host of Americana greats brought to life in a celebration of songwriting genius and great musicianship. Among the songs you can expect to hear are LA Freeway, Hello In There, Desperados Waiting On A Train, Copperhead Road, If I Needed You, Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys, and many more…
